Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 23, 2026

RemoStation does not collect any of your personal information. It has no servers of its own and includes no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools. The game stream travels only between your iPhone and your own console on your home network.

Information stored on your device

The following stays on your device. We cannot see it and it is never sent to us:

• Console pairing information: the console's name and ID, and the connection credentials the console gives RemoStation when you pair. Stored in the system Keychain and used only to connect to your own console. Remove it with "Unpair" on the console's page.
• PSN account ID: required by the console for pairing. After you sign in to PSN, RemoStation looks it up from Sony. It is stored only on this device and sent only to your own console when pairing. Sign out and remove it under Settings › PSN Account.
• Play history: start time, console name, the name of the game that was running, and duration of each session, stored in this device's Keychain. Clear it with the button at the bottom of the Play History page.
• Free-trial usage: stored in the Keychain. If you use iCloud Keychain, Apple syncs it end-to-end encrypted to your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account; we cannot read it.
• Settings: picture quality, controller layouts, display options and similar, removed when you delete RemoStation.

Who RemoStation communicates with

• Your own console: finding, waking and streaming from your console happens only between your device and your console on your local network. The stream is encrypted as required by the console's protocol.
• Sony: you sign in to PSN on Sony's official sign-in page, opened inside RemoStation. Your credentials go directly to Sony; RemoStation never sees them. RemoStation then uses the sign-in result to look up your PSN account ID from Sony's servers; the access token involved is used only in memory and never stored. Sony's privacy policy applies to this.
• Apple: purchases of the Full Version are handled by the App Store; we never receive your payment information. To check whether the network is usable (for example the Wireless Data permission on iPhones sold in mainland China), RemoStation contacts Apple's connectivity check at captive.apple.com without sending any personal information.

Permissions

• Local Network: to find your console on Wi-Fi and stream the game to your device.
• Wireless Data (iPhones sold in mainland China): to sign in to PSN and to purchase the Full Version.

Children

We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
